Has anyone else read Benedict XVI's encyclical?
I'm writing a paper on sex and celibacy and am using it as a source. It's a good read.

I`ve never read it but there are religions that feel sexual energy can be worked towads higher spiritual enlightenment.I would think a Catholic view on it would be very interesting.

It's fairly sex-positive considering it was written by a 79 year old celibate man, but the parts on charity took up the bulk of the work and were quite interesting.
PS. It's good to see you back, Raks.

Awww *hugs* Its good to see you hun.
I think sex being seen as positive is better than a negative stance. Putting it in a negative way I believe makes younger folks all the more curious.

HA! when I first viewed this it said read 69 times. I thought Scott wrote that and it wouldn't fit on the message board main page. I didn't think that it had been read 69 times I thought he us to read it 69 times. Very funny as the thread is about .
