Who's going to see the Simpsons movie when it comes out in July? I really want to see it...I think it'll be really good.

I'm pretty disappointed they decided to do it. The quality of the show has been downhill for the last several years, and if they have the same writers working on the movie, I'm not going to have high hopes. Of course, I will see it, but I have always preferred the biting social commentary to the more story-driven approach they have taken lately.

I think the Simpsons has still stayed fresh all the new eps I have seen have been funny. Granted I have missed much of the past few seasons but I have seen this season pretty much all the way through.
I understand your political commentary point and I like that as well...I hope the movie meets expectations they have a lot riding on it.

Hopefully John Schwartzwelder will contribute a lot of material to the movie. He's probably my favorite writer.

I think it's cool Ian Maxtone Graham is still on board the series. It'd be cool if Conan would contribute to the movie.
